OnticPost

A publication that measures AI and robotics with tools rather than opinions. The identity, while the publication is being built.

2026Brand, design

Ontic is said “on tic”. The brand spells its tick “tic”, so the mark had to be a tick, the sign for excellent, and the sound of one.

The mark

A solid square tile with a stepped tick knocked out of it. The tick is five squares, and five squares are five stars. Every square is the same size, on a six by six grid.

The type

Figtree for words and Inter for numbers, because the publication is mostly numbers, and they have to line up.
